Operations platform and mobile apps for a multi-sport event
February – September 2026
A multi-sport event moves thousands of people between venues, hotels and airports every day, and it was being run on disconnected spreadsheets and radio calls. We built one platform for the whole operation, plus the mobile apps that reach the people who never sit at a desk.

The problem
A multi-sport event moves thousands of athletes, officials, VIPs and press between venues, hotels, airports and dining halls every day. That operation was running across disconnected spreadsheets, radio calls and phone messages, with no single view of where anyone was or which vehicle was free. The people who most needed it — an athlete on a bus, a driver between trips, staff at a venue gate — were the least able to use a desktop system.
What we built
One platform covering the whole operation: delegations and participants, providers and fleet, the sports calendar, transport with live GPS tracking and automatic assignment, hotels and rooms, dining, accreditation with QR credentials, health records, VIP monitoring, a flight monitor and a transport finance panel. Six end-user portals sit on top of it, each entered with a six-character code, in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Two React Native applications reach the field: the main app for participants and drivers, and a separate staff app, each with its own identity so the two can be reviewed and released independently. An AI assistant handles routine operations, with every action it takes written to an audit log.
The result
Built for the 2026 Pan American Games, with more than forty operational modules in production. The apps were published on the App Store on 2 September 2026 and on Google Play on 4 September 2026, distributed across 31 countries.
