Who we are
An engineering studio built to do the work that agencies hand off.
CeleryDev was founded in 2024 as the engineering arm of Celery Agency, and it exists to separate two businesses that kept getting confused with each other. Celery Agency does marketing, websites and online stores. CeleryDev does the heavy work: software platforms, SaaS products and mobile applications. Not small sites, not quick jobs — systems that companies run their operations on.
Behind it is Rafael Azuaje, founder and technical director. He graduated as a computer engineer from Universidad Arístides Bastidas in Yaracuy, Venezuela, in 2014, and spent the following years in UX/UI design for US companies including Streamline Brands (SafeSplash), Innovate Fast and GoHighLevel. In 2019 he settled in Chile and founded, alongside Karla Galicia, the company that would grow into Celery Agency — starting with freelance clients and moving steadily toward businesses that needed something more serious than a website.
That design background is still visible in how the team works: a well-built system that nobody can figure out how to use is a system that failed.
Today the team includes senior full stack developers David Rosas and Juan Pablo Pulgarín, and the company keeps folding new technology into how it delivers — AI models to move faster, always with security and senior human oversight as the condition, never the afterthought.
